About this site

Hello, I'm Juniati.

I write in this small space in between the roles I carry every day: as a wife, a mother of two teenagers, a student, and a trainer at a government institution. I have stood before a classroom for 3 years now, and to this day I still believe that teaching is really another form of learning, only done together.

Notes & Works grew out of a simple habit: taking notes. Notes on what I learn, what I tend, and what I make, alone and alongside others. I believe the most valuable things in life rarely arrive in a hurry; they grow slowly, like a plant, like a piece of music practiced night after night.

Here I write in three interwoven parts:

On Growing โ€” on plants, patience, and the art of nurturing life slowly. My little garden is a teacher that never runs out of lessons.

Resonance โ€” on piano, music, and learning notes. I returned to the piano at an age that is no longer young, and found the quiet joy of being a beginner again.

On Living โ€” on roles, family, and the everyday questions worth reflecting on. On being a teacher in the classroom and a student at home.

I write not because I already have all the answers, but because writing helps me think more clearly and live more attentively. If even a single piece here makes your day feel a little more spacious, then this space has done its work.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you find something growing here.
